ABOUTThis year’s conference FLY Conference 2012 has students learn through a detective based theme to understand finance in an interactive and fun way. Our main goal is to help students achieve stability by emphasizing the importance of proper money management by keeping their “Financial Eyes” on the future. |
LEARN In our conference students will meet with business professionals in the workshops and tradeshow session. Offering a great insight from the ones who work with money daily. This conference will provide the opportunity to meet with other students across the metro-Vancouver, and University leaders that can help provide a first glimpse of the university experience. |
MEET With business professionals teaching workshop lessons and tradeshow representatives sharing their expertise and personal experiences students will learn how to start making smart financial decisions. After attending the conference, the students will have a clearer picture of what “personal finance” means, and will be equipped with the tools to face the real world. |
PLAY Throughout the conference students will go through activities, turning learning into an engaging hands-on experience. These games will help students memorize the content learned throughout the workshop, to prepare students to take the finance knowledge from the conference into their own lives. |
